Hungarian Opposition PM candidate’s popularity declining? – Survey

Péter Márki-Zay has lost much of his popularity since he became candidate, the Századvég Foundation told MTI on Saturday, based on its latest opinion poll, which looked into how the popularity of the prime ministerial candidate of the joint opposition parties changed over the past two months.

In October 2021, at the time of the second round of the opposition’s primary elections, 42 percent of voters had a positive view of Márki-Zay and 47 percent had a negative opinion, Századvég said.

Over the past two months, the candidate’s popularity has been steadily declining, the study said.

  1. The Soviet EU, Soros, CIA candidate and the anti-Hungarian opposition is sinking like a rock.

  2. Is this a case of – ” Better te Devil you know – than the one you Don’t”.
Lot of water still to flow down the Duna until the National Elections April/May 2022.
Lets not get to far ahead of ourselves – and NOT forget, the “Struggling” Economy that we are challenged to live with, at this time in Hungary.
Nothing is going to get Cheaper.
We are seeing just one facet or section, in the componentry of our “Struggling” Economy – being Inflation – at a 14 year High.
Watch and observe – plenty still to Happen.

  3. Peter Marki-Zay is not really qualified. There is very little information about him on the net. His years in Canada, mode of entry is a blank. there is hardly any info about him in his years in the US. The information on the net is also conflicting. The candidate lived in Canada but at the same time attended a university in Budapest.

The population is not ready to trust a person with unknown past. No candidate, who has Soros connection and pro EU at the expense of Hungary should be elected like Peter.

The other factor is that Mr. Orban is a pro Hungarian Prime Minister and he and his party served the country well. Hungary is very lucky to have him.

  4. Didn’t he work as a Vaccum Cleaner Door to Door Salesman – his time in Canada ???
Mind you – in all fairness, if this was in his somewhat student days – taking leave of his studies in Hungary – wouldn’t be the first to take a “fill in” job as such, to assist in living away from home expenses.
Stupidity – for the opposition not to present a detailed Curriculum Vitae – on Peter Marki-Zay.
Alma mater – Places of Education – he has attended – total (4) four.
    They being :
    (1) – Budapest Business School.
    (2) – Corvinus – University of Budapest.
    (3) – Obuda University.
    (4) – Pazmany Peter – Catholic University.

Lay it ALL – on the TABLE – my advice to the Opposition.

“Honesty is Your Strongest Form of Defence” – and before the REAL Poitical Fights or Character Assassinations – that are part of the Political Mantra – really get going – lay it ALL on the table Now.
